Our Commitments

Last updated: 28.09.2026

These are the promises we make to every traveller and every partner agency, church, school or institution that sends a group to us. They are not aspirations. Each one is something we already do, something you can ask us to evidence, and — where it affects what you pay — something written into our Terms and Conditions rather than left on a marketing page.

If we ever fail to keep one of them, we would rather hear it from you than not hear it at all. Section 12 tells you exactly where to write.

1. Your price, fixed at deposit

Türkiye is a high-inflation economy and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can control, we commit to: once your deposit is received, the price we quoted does not move against you.

Exchange-rate movements between your deposit and your departure are ours to carry. So are supplier increases, entrance fees and taxes that rise in the meantime — they are already priced into the figure you were given. Your price band is fixed when you book: if your final numbers come in below your first estimate, you pay the band you booked.

A price changes only where an official decision or an event genuinely beyond our control leaves us no alternative — a new levy imposed by authority, or a force majeure event of the kind described in our Terms and Conditions. In that case we write to you with the reason and the amount before anything is charged. It is not a routine adjustment, and it has never been a way for us to recover a bad exchange rate.

2. No shopping stops

Your coach stops where your itinerary says it stops, and nowhere else. There is no carpet workshop, no leather show, no jewellery or textile outlet inserted into your day.

We take no commission from retailers, and our guides and drivers are paid by us, not by shops. There is nothing for anyone to sell you, which is the only reliable reason a stop stays out of a programme. If you ask us to include a workshop or a market because you want to see it, we will arrange it and say so in the itinerary.

3. Every group on the same terms

We welcome groups regardless of faith, nationality, ethnicity, gender, age or disability, on identical commercial terms.

Much of our work is with Christian pilgrimage groups travelling in a Muslim-majority country, so this is not a decorative sentence for us — it is the definition of the product. We build the day around your own order of worship: time and a quiet place for a service at the sites that matter to you, a schedule that respects your Sunday, meals that meet your requirements, and guides who are briefed on what your group has come to do. We ask nothing about your beliefs beyond what we need in order to serve you well.

4. Access facts in writing, before you book

Many of our travellers are in their seventies. Telling them a site is “accessible” is worth nothing; telling them what is actually there is worth a great deal.

So for every site on your programme we put the facts in writing before you commit: the number of steps, the surface underfoot, the gradient, the distance to be walked, the shade available and the nearest accessible toilet. Where a site cannot be made to work for a member of your group, we say so in advance and propose what they can do instead — rather than discovering it together at the gate.

5. Safeguarding for young people and church groups

Youth, school and parish groups travel under a written safeguarding standard, aligned with the principles of the industry code for the protection of children in travel and tourism.

In practice: a named safeguarding contact at Travione Global for the whole journey; guides and drivers briefed before arrival; no unsupervised one-to-one contact between our staff and a young person; group leaders’ own safeguarding policies respected and accommodated; and a documented route for raising a concern, during the trip or afterwards.

Our safeguarding contact is Meryem Yorulmaz — meryem@travioneglobal.com. A group leader may write to her directly, before, during or after a journey.

6. Licensed guides, licensed vehicles

Every group travels with a guide licensed by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism, carrying the ministry badge, and in a vehicle licensed for tourist transport with a professionally licensed driver.

Driver duty and rest hours are observed as the law requires, and we plan itineraries that make them possible rather than treating them as an obstacle. On request we will confirm the guide’s licence number and the vehicle’s documents before departure.

7. Money that stays in the region

Wherever the programme allows, we use family-run hotels and restaurants, regional producers and local craftspeople — and we name them in the itinerary instead of leaving them vague.

This is not charity; it is the reason our programmes are worth travelling for. A morning with a weaver in Buldan, a table at a vineyard in Çal or lunch at a family kitchen in Denizli is both a better experience and a fairer distribution of what you spend.

8. Heritage, and the animals in it

Every group is briefed on site conduct before an archaeological visit: where one may walk, what may not be touched, and why a fragment on the ground stays on the ground. Our guides enforce it, politely and consistently.

Our programmes include no camel or horse rides and no performing-animal shows. Where such an attraction exists next to a site we visit, we neither sell it nor take a commission on it.

9. No facilitation payments

We do not offer or accept kickbacks, facilitation payments or gifts intended to influence a decision — from suppliers, officials or partner agencies — and we require the same of the suppliers who work with us.

Corporate, academic and diocesan buyers routinely ask for this in a supplier questionnaire. Ours is a one-sentence answer, and this page is it.

10. What we do about waste and fuel

We make no general environmental claims and we hold no environmental certification. We would rather list the few concrete things we actually do:

  • Refillable bottles and filling points on the coach, in place of single-use plastic bottles handed out daily.
  • Tickets, vouchers, itineraries and invoices issued digitally; paper only where an authority requires it.
  • Engines switched off while vehicles wait, rather than idling for air conditioning.
  • Group sizes and routes planned to keep the driving distance per traveller down — which is also why our programmes run in one direction rather than doubling back.

11. Licensed and insured

Travione Global operates under Birol Yorulmaz Turizm Seyahat Acentası, a travel agency licensed by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism, TÜRSAB Category A, licence no. 18673, with the professional liability cover Turkish law requires of a licensed agency.

Licence, insurance and company documents are provided on request for your procurement file, normally the same working day.

12. How to hold us to this

For anything on this page, or to ask us to evidence any of it, write to tour@travioneglobal.com. For a safeguarding matter, write to meryem@travioneglobal.com.

If we have not kept a commitment, tell us what happened and we will tell you what we are doing about it. Commitments that we cannot keep will be removed from this page rather than quietly redefined, and the date at the top will tell you when it last changed.
